Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
CAP is a national debt-counselling charity working through a network of centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to people in debt through its unique, in-depth service.
Financial debt is a major concern for many in the Gillingham area. We launched the Gillingham CAP Centre in February 2008 so that we can play our part in helping to deal with this crisis that leaves many in desperate situations.
CAP Money
CAP Money is a comprehensive yet astonishingly simple money-management course to help you get in control of your finances and stay there.
Through taking the course, delegates are helped and encouraged to think more about budgeting and living within their means, whilst being shown a cash-based system that allows them to take control of their finances.
CAP Money is a three session, DVD-based course. For each session, there is a 30-minute presentation by John Kirkby, the Founder and International Director of CAP. The remainder of the session is facilitated by a Money Coach. Money Coaches have been trained by CAP to run the course and be on hand to help with the preparation of budgets.
