Gethsemane

In the garden tired men slept
In the garden Jesus wept
Through the darkness Satan crept
Then on His back with force he leapt

In the garden nothing stirred
Not worm or insect, mouse or bird
But through the night a battle raged
As Lord and Satan there were caged

Through the moonlight armed men walked
To the leaders Judas talked
Greeted Jesus with a kiss
Betrayal that no one could miss

From the garden all departed
Empty now, 12 broken-hearted
Realise just what they've done —
Each crucified the one true Son
