The Cry from My Heart
Lord Hear This Cry From My Heart:–
Are the prayers from one who can't speak or hear any less cherished by You
than those from one who speaks with the eloquence to lead a nation?
Are the songs from one who is tone deaf any less beautiful to Your ears
than those from one who can sing with the voice of angels?
Is the illiterate who attempts to write "Jesus" any less worthy in Your sight than
the one who can write words to fill a thousand books?
Are the tentative, naive paintings from a child of Yours any less wonderful to
You than the brush strokes from one who is declared a genius?
And is the most perfect Son who died, tormented on a cross crying 'Forgive
them Father' any more precious to You than the sinner who comes bowed,
bloodied and broken to seek forgiveness and rest in Your love?
No, Lord.
And this is the wonder of You.
