Galatians 5:1 tells us that it is 'for freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery'. But what exactly did Paul mean by this in his letter, and how are we to interpret his teaching as modern day followers of Christ? Nick Baker gives us his take on this passage, using three areas of contrast with our Christian lives to explain how we're set free from being labeled; from the need to abide by arbitrary rules; and above all, from our old, pre-salvation selves.
