'Reaching out to those outside the church, locally and further afield. “Kingdom-minded,” not empire building. Mission oriented, rather than introspective or just maintaining things as they are. Recognising that reaching out to others is the most effective way of meeting the needs of those already within the church.' For GCC, this is a key value; indeed, we aspire to be a church in the community, for the community. In this talk, Pete Bond unpacks why the Christian church (not just GCC) has to be outward looking - to be just as Jesus wants it to be.
