Use of Rooms

External groups/organisations using rooms at Wessex House

As a church, we believe that GCC is called to serve our community by bringing God’s kingdom of hope and light. Our specific emphasis is on reaching out to and helping the poor, oppressed, disadvantaged and marginalised of all ages. GCC has a number of rooms of differing sizes at Wessex House that we are able to make available for use by external groups and organisations where they are in alignment with our charitable aims, which are:

  1. to advance Christianity; and to

  2. to relieve people in need as a result of sickness or poor health, disability, age, oppression, financial hardship or other economic or social disadvantage.

GCC will not rent out room space at Wessex House simply for financial gain. In general, we aim to provide use of space in our building free of charge, but donations towards the running costs are encouraged. Our aim is to gift the use of Wessex House to the community for hosting meetings and events that are in line with our Christian principles and our charitable aims.

If you are interested in using one of our rooms for either a one-off event or a regular meeting, please complete our initial Application form and we will get back in contact with you … please make sure you read the information at the top of the form to ensure your group/activity is something we can support.
